Entry 523: Houston Trip
Last weekend we traveled to Houston, Texas to continue our mission of seeing every MLB ballpark by visiting Minute Maid Park. We left on Friday and came back on Sunday. We stayed at the Inn At The Ballpark which was awesome because it was literally right across the street from the stadium. We both loved this hotel, but for completely different reasons. Lance loved it because the whole hotel had a ballpark theme. It had baseball statues all over the hotel, baseball pictures in the room, and their restaurant had pretty much all baseball food. Julie liked the hotel because it had really nice soaps and shampoos in the bathroom and the room had leather couches with a great view of downtown from our window.
Lance was excited to see Minute Maid Park because of the train and the hill in center field. Let's just say that he was not disappointed. The stadium was beautiful and we had really great seats (8 rows behind home plate). We both ranked this as our second favorite stadium behind PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Enjoy the pictures.
