Entry 109: Working Girl
Thats right you see two lunch boxes in this picture which can only mean one thing; we both have started working again. Julie started her new job today and she really likes it. She is working as an employment specialist for The Whole Person. She will be very good at this because everyone loves Julie and she always has a way of getting people to go above what they think they can do. This means we will get to see a little bit less of each other, but the real loser here is the dog who now gets to see us both less. So far the dog hasn't destroyed anything and we're keeping our fingers crossed that she doesn't.

Entyr 108: First Day Of School
Well the time has come and while one of us is excited, the other one is not. That's right it is the first day of school which means Lance's summer vacation is over. You can see the pictures below of how excited Lance is and the dog giving him a consolatory hug. You will also notice the outfit that Julie picked out and bought for Lance to wear. At least he looks ruggedly handsome.

Entry 107: A Dinner With The Huebner's
Now many of you are probably wishing that you could have dinner with us, and if you picked Sundays you would be in luck because that is our big meal night. Tonight we decided to make some baked mostaciolli (sp) and garlic bread. Julie has really started to become a pretty good little cook and the dog always seems to help out by licking up anything that hits the ground.

Entry 105: Back To The Real World
As you can tell from our blog, we haven't been posting very much lately and we have a good reason: we are both now working. That's right, summer vacation is over for Lance which means we are both up at 5:30 every morning getting ready. We do make a promise to start updating more frequently when we get into a routine, but right now we both just come home exhausted. Keep checking back though because we have some big events coming up and pictures to go with it.

Entry 103: The New And Improved Man Bathroom
We decided that since we are both going to start work again soon that the second bathroom needed to be redone. It already had a toilet, sunk, and shower, but little personality. Lets just say that Julie took care of the personality part. We repainted the bathroom and made it a coffee brown color to compliment the paneling in the room next to it. We then purchased a small white shelving unit for Lance to store his man essentials in (shaving cream, hair gel, razor, deodorant, etc...). Julie then picked out a wrought iron circular mirror to put above the sink and to match the banister that leads down to the bathroom. Since Julie's mom broke our towel rack upstairs, we decided to bring the remaining racks downstairs. Julie than decided on the bath coordinates which were black and silver (this was due to the gifts we received at the wedding shower). We then bought a matching black bath mat and black toilet seat cover to compliment the coordinates. We finished the whole thing off with a picture that Lance's grandfather painted before he passed on. The whole project took about two weeks, but we are very happy with the final result. You can see the pictures below (the picture with the sink is the true wall color, the other picture didn't get much light.).
Entry 102: The Car Is Fixed
After a long week of driving a gas guzzling rental, we were thrilled to get our car back from the shop. All of the damage was fixed and you can see the pictures for yourself below. Lance now tells Julie he just needs to get into a front end crash and they will have a whole new car. Julie does not think this is funny and frowns on the idea.

Entry 101: Congratulations
We recently learning that Mary and Phillip (Julie's sister and brother-in-law) will soon have a new addition to their family, and no it isn't another playmate for their dog Coco. Mary is now 3 1/2 months pregnant and is due to give birth at the end of January. We are both very excited for them and are confident that they will make great parents. We both have our fingers crossed that the child will be a Royals fan.
Entry 100: Dinner With A Friend
Last night we were fortunate enough to have dinner at our friend Chevy's house. We were very excited about this because he bought a house and we hadn't had the chance to see it yet. Needless to say we weren't disappointed (can you say a fireplace in the bedroom and bathroom along with a jacuzzi tub). It was a great time and we were very happy to spend the time with our friend.
The chicken that Chevy grilled was delicious.
