Entry 103: The New And Improved Man Bathroom

We decided that since we are both going to start work again soon that the second bathroom needed to be redone. It already had a toilet, sunk, and shower, but little personality. Lets just say that Julie took care of the personality part. We repainted the bathroom and made it a coffee brown color to compliment the paneling in the room next to it. We then purchased a small white shelving unit for Lance to store his man essentials in (shaving cream, hair gel, razor, deodorant, etc...). Julie then picked out a wrought iron circular mirror to put above the sink and to match the banister that leads down to the bathroom. Since Julie's mom broke our towel rack upstairs, we decided to bring the remaining racks downstairs. Julie than decided on the bath coordinates which were black and silver (this was due to the gifts we received at the wedding shower). We then bought a matching black bath mat and black toilet seat cover to compliment the coordinates. We finished the whole thing off with a picture that Lance's grandfather painted before he passed on. The whole project took about two weeks, but we are very happy with the final result. You can see the pictures below (the picture with the sink is the true wall color, the other picture didn't get much light.).
