Entry 187: A Day Of Planting
Yesterday, even though it looked like it was going to rain all day, we decided to do some planting. Julie had an idea in her head about what she would like to do and you can see the end result above. She bought two hanging pots that are petunias and next to the bushes she planted some marigolds and petunias. She did all of this to match the new siding that we will be getting in the next few months. It looked nice in the end.

Entry 185: Trash Day
As everyone knows trash day is one of Julie's favorite days, but when it is spring pickup day she gets just a little more excited. Well this past Thursday was spring pickup day where you can basically leave all of the things you no longer want out and the city will pick them up. This years spring clean up day was a little special because of our neighbors. We like to call them Hoosiers because they just collect things and make lots of noise at all hours of the night. A good example of them (8 people in a 3 bedroom house) is the time when they tried to mow their yard, but the mower wouldn't start. They finally got the mower to work, but only in 30 second spurts. So when the mower would start they would run through the yard with it real quick until it died, but then it would take them 5 minutes to get it started again. This went on for 2 hours and Lance hadn't laughed that hard in ages. Well the pictures below show what awaited us when we woke up the morning of spring clean up day (and yes that is their stuff on both sides of the street).
Entry 184: Phantom Of The Opera
Last Saturday, as a late birthday present for Julie, we went to see The Phantom Of The Opera. We both enjoyed the show and the music was incredible. Lance's favorite part was the beginning where they brought the chandelier up. Julie isn't really able to pick a favorite part because she enjoyed the whole thing.

Entry 182: Florida Trip
We finally decided that it was time to get away from this cold weather for a few days, so we flew to Florida last week to visit Julie's aunt and uncle and Lance's grandmother. We had a great time and were able to do a lot of fun things. Lance's grandmother is doing great and Lance was able to help her get some things straightened out with her computer. Julie's aunt and uncle were nice enough to let us stay a majority of the time with them and were absolutely gracious hosts, even taking us on a boat ride of the canals they live on. We both loved Florida and hope to go back soon. We have some pictures that you can see down below on the link.
