Entry 274: Julie's New Phone

Julie got a new phone this weekend, the Motorola Devour. Her contract was almost up with AT&T, so we went into a Verizon store and Julie fell in love with it. Happy Birthday to Lance's mom who celebrated her birthday yesterday. We love you mom.

Entry 272: Happy Birthday Tyson

Today we went to Red Robin to celebrate our friend Tyson's 38th birthday (same age as Lance). Tyson's wife, Anita, made sure that they came and sang to him and as you can see in the picture had him wear a balloon hat. Happy Birthday Tyson.

Entry 270: Our Climbing Dog: Part 2

As you saw from our last video Bobby can climb fences, now he has gone one better and has started climbing trees. When Bobby sees a squirrel he gets very excited and actually has started climbing the trees to try to get them. I am sorry that the video is sideways, but I took the video with my phone and it was the best I could do on short notice.

Entry 269: Our Climbing Dog

Saturday night while we were talking to our neighbors, Bobby decided he wanted to join us and, believe it or not, he began climbing the fence. We decided to get video evidence of it, so watch the video and you will see. Just on a side note; the neighbors yard looks the way it does because the city tore it up to put in new sewer lines. Hopefully it is cleaned up soon.

Entry 268: First Day Of Spring

Today was the first day of spring and what did we have: SNOW. That's right on the first day of spring we woke up to the white stuff on the ground and it just continued all day. Now some of you are probably wondering what Lance and Julie do on a snowy day, well for all of you inquiring minds here you go:

- we made two batches of pumpkin chocolate chip bread. It was the first time we have ever made it. On a scale of 1-10 Julie gave it an 8 and Lance gave it a 7.

- we made pesto tortellini soup (again the first time ever making it). On a scale of 1-10 Julie gave it a 10 and Lance gave it a 7.

- we made a batch of lemon bars yesterday also. On a scale of 1-10 Julie gave it a 5and lance gave it an 8.

- we set Julie up with her own twitter account. Lance has one and Julie always looks at his and lately has been making tweets on his account. We figured it was time for Julie to make her own and right off the bat she started following HGTV and Bob/Jillian the trainers from The Biggest Loser. - we watched New Moon and even all of the extra features. Julie loved the whole movie, but Lance really enjoyed the action scenes and special effects.

- we attempted to watch The Time Travelers Wife, but after about 40 minutes we decided that it wasn't worth our time and shut it off.

So there you go, that is what Julie and Lance do when it is snowing outside. Hopefully all of you inquiring minds are now satisfied.
